Lady Gaga performed at the F1 party last November. The real deal was her remastering of couture designer, Tarun Tahiliani’s sari.
The good news is that she looked fabulous in the sari-dress.
The bad news is that the photographs taken of her show more of her panty area (in a rather vulgar pose too) than show off the style of the dress.
She was … hot and cold.
But if you go back to the Emirates Women magazine feature, Lady Gaga wears the original Tahiliani sari. There, she looked stunning.
I love the oversized 60s sunglasses on her and the colonial garden style shooting.
If somehow the beauty from these photos transcribed to the concert photos, she would have been stunning.
Still, it’s amazing to see Indian fashion designers make the global stage. Laga Gaga wearing a sari is cool beyond belief. For that, I have to thank her for making Indian design fashionable.
Sadly, now-a-days focus is NOT on the costume or the designer but the ops moment or wardrobe malfunction. If everything is normal, then that is not a news. The scintillating news is wardrobe malfunction.
True, but what matters for most of us is how they wore the outfit.
