Whenever there is a Florida wedding, it’s hard to beat the sunshine, the beach, and a bit of Bollywood. And some very pretty clothes!
Today’s couple is all about the Bollywood. And their wedding, with a several tiered cake will make even Cinderella blush.
When Pacific Pictures studio contacted us, we jumped at saying yes to feature their same day edit!
Kevin tells us the story of Depeka and Robin:
Depeka and Robin came to our team as long-time fans of our work and with a love of all things Bollywood. After a twelve-year friendship, Robin’s elaborate proposal even involved screening their favorite movie, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”
Although having settled in New York, Depeka and her family spent months searching for the perfect destination to host their wedding weekend festivities, in a celebration that brought together family and friends from all over the world. When they narrowed their search to South Florida, Depeka’s dream of combining her love of the beach with elements of a royal Hindu wedding held in a beautiful palace were slowly realized. The first time she saw The Breakers in Palm Beach, Depeka knew she had found her palace by the sea.
Depeka and Robin’s sentimental nature and love of Bollywood cinema inspired their e-session, which our team combined with their same-day-edit, screened to all in attendance the night of their reception.
If you are ready to be swept off your feet with a filmy wedding video, here it is! Music is by Atif Aslam with the song, “Piya O Re Piya (Sad).”

Did you love hearing the story of the first maharani?! I would like to awake in a beautiful palace by the sea.
And the bridal outfits. SO SO SO gorgeous. Depeka is a true maharani. And picking these fabulous wedding lenghas was our very own BF Red Book Rani by Neha Mahajan, a personal stylist and shopper.
