There is something about Florida weddings that captures the magic in no other way. Maybe it’s the ocean, maybe those Monet inspired sunsets, or maybe Florida just brings out the beautiful in a very special way.
Vanita and Bryan are from Chicago, Illinois. They wanted a large wedding that would be fun for their guests, outdoors for the ceremony, and warm! And what better way than to get married at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
First off, I love Vanita’s wedding and reception outfits. Her pink colors are the perfect shades for a beautiful, elegant wedding. She had hers and Bryan’s wedding ceremony outfits custom made at Saahil Boutique in Chicago, IL.
Her jewelry came from Devam in Boca Raton, Florida and her custom wedding reception outfit was from Studio Elite in Chicago. Bryan’s reception suit was from Brioni.
They had an outdoor wedding (you are after all, on the oceanside in Florida), and photographer Jeff Kolodny captured their Hindu wedding like a painter.
For the reception, they selected different shades of pinks, reds and white for their flowers. They contrasted them with purple and yellow uplighting to accent the room. Oh, and did you notice the ocean in the background. Definitely a romantic wedding spot!
And goodness, they were so many beautiful flowers, you just fall head over heels. And the wedding cake in it’s own special canopy with vintage gold printed fabrics.
