But there is one thing we all know about Indian weddings:

No gold, no wedding.

A few very interesting gold facts:

Did you know that Indians hold more gold in their personal possession than other country treasury in the world?

As much as 20% of the wedding costs come from gold.

January, February, September, November tend to be most auspicious months to buy gold.

The most popular holidays to buy gold are Akshaya Tritiya, Dussera, and Dhanteras.
