Ohh lovelies, you are in for a treat today. We’re headed to New Jersey for a wedding at the beautiful Birchwood Manor.
And our bride Sonam, is just stunning. Her red lengha is to-die-for beautiful.
We speak to photographer Joe Dantone to hear about the wedding!
Sonam and Nikhil met as they both studied together at Harvard University. They couldn’t have picked a more amazing day to get married. The April weather was perfect which allowed for their beautiful outdoor ceremony. Nikhil’s high energy Baraat fueled by DJ Raj kicked off the wedding. Before they wedding, they wanted to schedule the timeline of the day so they could relax a bit and make a good amount of time for portraits. There was no bridal party which allowed them to spend a lot of time to themselves and create some amazing images.
Sonam and Nikhil had wanted to do a first look but they were so anxious to see each other they ended up hanging out together before the first look!
The ceremony was beautiful as the amazing drapery down the isle blew gently in the wind, really accentuating both the bride and groom, making them seem almost like the King and Queen were walking down the isle. The ceremony was filled with laughs and seriousness all the while a special emotional moment between the bride and grandmother, who was not able to walk. The ceremony ended and the party began in the chandelier filled reception at Birchwood Manor.
As you step into the room, the massive chandeliers accentuated the largess of the room through up-lighting. The dining tables featured short and tall centerpieces with tea light candles hanging delicately from wooden branches.
This party did not stop until the DJ finished the night, and the bride and groom had one more surprise. As they made the exit to this incredible wedding, they had their luggage packed in a car service that picked them up to leave to their hotel at the “finish line” of their sparkler exit.
