Jenietha & Kumaran's Bright Floral Tamil Wedding {Malaysia}

2017 Mar 26 - by Preeti
Oh Tamil weddings. You steal my heart. And this traditional Tamil wedding in Malaysia is nothing short of spectacular.

Tell us about your wedding!

Kumaran & I had a traditional Hindu wedding which incorporated with Dharma Shakti vedanta gurukulam. The wedding ceremony was conducted by 4 Darma Shakti gurukulam.

The highlight of the wedding was my entry on beautiful gold swan palki. This swan ride made me feel so special. My heart was beating so fast, worry & excited; so many emotions at once. With all the eyes geared on me as I was carried by my uncles, there love, joy, and laughter. It was a star-like feeling!

When I got off in front of the mandap, Kumaran stood and tied the Thaali around my neck & placed the sindoor on my head.

We decided to have only one event; that gave us time to prepare and do a great job. We had our wedding invite designed uniquely with pictorial timeline, colorful inserts.

Wedding outfits

My first wedding saree was beautiful parrot designer kanjevaram saree with embroidery work that matches Kumaran indowestern outfit from Manyavar.

My second saree, I had a green with pink combination kanchevaram pattu saree, full gold zaari that go along with his Ramraj pattu veshthi. Both my classy yet traditional sarees came from Pothys Boutique.

Shout out to my vendors

It was very important for us to capture every moment of our big day beautifully. Therefore we had Mag Heva Photograhy & GDU Film Style Videography. Their profesionalism & pragmatic style was nicely balanced by their enthusiasm & friendly energy.

Massive thanks to BLUSH Beauty & Beyond. I absolutely loved my makeup and you made me feel a million dollars. It lasted all day ! Our flowers and garlands came from beautiful designer Veens Flower & Events.

Everyone who attended the wedding complimented how delicious the wedding food was.HUGE thanks to Jumbo Caterers. Guests raved about the food, the timing of the meals, the excelled service, friendly staff, and attention to detail. Not just ordinary food buffet, well decorated as well as the dome sets. Marvelous arrangement.

We had instrumental performance by Maestro Musical Instrument. All the guest attended was carried away by their musical performance. We also had special performance by the Groom nephew, Tusyhaalen specially for the newly wed couple.

Last but not least the wedding decoration. We were blown away as we walked into the hall. Vibrant theme by SVN Creations.
