With Pantone announcing their 2014 color of the year over the weekend, we just couldn't help but make a color palette monday for it!
Well, it is Thanksgiving this week and I wanted to have a color similar to fall/Thanksgiving colors without going overboard on the leaves, turkeys, and such.
We have a very special color palette today. Inspired by the delicate and oh so delicious macarons, Chantal Guillon, we have created a soft Neapolitan color theme from these treats.
If there's one thing for certain, color palettes with gold are always fashionable for South Asian brides.
I wanted to share a color theme that is inspired by fall, but not of the typical colors you think. So, instead of red, orange, yellow, green, brown, traditional fall colors, I went with a vintage color theme.
Today is a special Color Palette Monday! We are featuring the color palette of one of our favorite looks from rental company and BF Red Book sponsor Borrow it Bindaas
This is a pretty unusual color palette. Part mystical, part vintage, this theme is for a wedding looking to be offbeat but still classy.
Green, forest green, sea green, bright green, lots of shades of green. You can always add another color to cut the greenness.
The classic black-gold wedding combination. Spruce it up by using shades of black-brown with the gold and even add an accent color.
Want a fall/winter color theme without the typical drab color combinations? Think of a fall fruit basket then! Blackberries (okay, many times a late summer berry), persimmons, clementines, passion fruits, bring out the best of fall without the usual foliage reference.
Couple weeks back we had an autumn sherbert color theme, but since it's the last weeks of summer, we have to have a summer inspired color palette.
Well, autumn is around the color. And that means picking up a color theme that matches. Instead of looking at leaves, consider sherbert colors. You can tone down the brightness with a dusky shade. Orange, lime, raspberry, cherry, and lemon never looked so good!
Instead of the usual bright colors we are used when it comes to peacocks, how about something a little darker? A little smokier? Rusted gold, aubergine, chocolate, and burnt [...]
I don't know what it is about this color palette, but it reminds me of a royal wedding. You know, seeing the fleur de lys fly high along with a bride floating with a 20 foot train. All [...]
Oh my! I hid this color theme from you all lovely ladies because I was secretly in love with it. Yes, this color palette is just to die for. Rich, luscious, elegant, there isn't a [...]
I love feline patterns; you know, tiger stripes, cheetah specks, leopard spots. They are beautiful, nature's finest textile patterns. Of course killing them for their [...]
