Welcome! I started this site as an inspiration to Indian weddings. When I started planning my wedding a few months ago, there were only a handful of sites. While they provided me with the inspiration, I was at a loss on how to manage a wedding 4,000 miles away and stay on budget.
And so here we are at The Big Fat Indian Wedding! This site is about being inspired to create a wedding that is yours and culturally and colorfully rich, in that decadent Indian way. Of course, being decadent and having a big, fat Indian wedding doesn’t mean blowing your savings account either.
