The COLOR and the DANCING and the FOOD!! And you actually have time over several days to visit with everyone rather than say ‘hi/bye’ like in Western weddings – all in one afternoon.

I love the traditions, that everything has meaning and roots back to ancient times. The beauty of continuing our traditions from generation to generation makes Indian weddings the most beautiful!!! From the mendhi we decorate our hands and feet with, to the games we play, to smell of ceremonial fire and prayers to Ganesh, Indians have maintained their cultural while embracing all of modern times in their weddings.

The family, love and great representation of culture. I love it’s reflection of what the institution of marriage really is. Those vows are eternal and touching.

I love the symbolism and beauty. Regardless of the size of the wedding it is always nice.

I love Indian Weddings because it is not just a function, but it is an occasion when 2 hearts combine and when 2 souls unite into a single one…
