Woo! We finished 2011 and hello 2012! Personally, 2011 was the best year of my life and the worst year of my life. I got married in India with tons of amazing friends and family. But then, reality struck and my little fuzzy best friend, Bunny passed away after 7 years with me. And then, my mom passed away.
The Year of the Rabbit was not my year.

Regarding The Big Fat Indian Wedding, I did have a great year. I wrote a lot and even received wonderful emails from brides around the world. The Big Fat Indian Wedding first started in October 2010, right after my civil marriage. Today we have over 3000 Facebook fans, 300 Twitter fans, and more than 12,000 people visiting the site every month!
And I’m really excited for what’s in store for 2012. New awesomeness, new writing, and perhaps even a new site!
