Pakistan’s Bridal Couture Week sponsored by Pantene is a pomp and circumstance affair showcasing the best of the country’s fashion.
From usual and bizarre (giant butterflies attached to dresses) to the elegant, the fashion week is fun and the trendsetter for the industry.
Trend 2013 Watch:
Multistrand Necklaces – Why have one necklace when you can nestle several strands into an ensemble?
Zari Balls – I think that’s what they are called! They are the cute little dangling balls made of cloth or beads that border a dupatta. They were in fashion for a second a few years ago but are back with blitz.
White – White is classic but it is not often seen on the Indian or Pakistani runways. What a refresher to see plently of beautiful white shararas and salwars!
And now for some amazing couture Pakistani designers!
