I love our Red Book members when they send us cool things they are doing. I heard from Reena, of 3 Bees Paperie, on a very beautiful wedding set they did.
Inspired by the bride and groom’s South Asian roots, they created a soft, pastel invitation suite. With Indian traditional yellow flowers, or deconstructed marigolds, the finished suite included a soft lavender gatefold invite with burgundy and green accents, tied with a yellow-gold ribbon. Also included was an RSVP card and a directions and accommodations insert.
The bride and groom also printed matching thank you cards with lavender envelopes to thank their guests after the big day.
To represent the couple’s Hindu backgrounds, a Ganesha was placed on the interior of the gatefold and an Om symbol was placed on the outer envelope.
The entire suite was printed on felt paper using digital offset flat printing. And fonts were Cochin and Bickham Script.
I just love the uniqueness of these cards! It’s a great blend of modern and tradition that would make the parents and the kids happy.
Be sure to check out more from 3 Bees Paperie on their Red Book page. And, make sure to vote for them for the Martha Stewart American Made Contest. We love when our wedding suppliers are up for awards, it means they are awesome. So, get your votes in by Sept 22nd! Oh, and multiple voting is allowed.
They are beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!
