Julep is a rapidly growing beauty startup that features beautiful and sustainably designed nail colors. The owner, Jane Park, takes pride in connecting women together – she makes sure to consider popular colors whenever announcing a new line, and she ensures that each color avoids dangerous chemicals or animal testing. Each nail color is even given a woman’s name! The company now branches out to other makeup products and engages in many community-building projects.
The fall collections (including the Limited Edition October Black Magic) are already heavily anticipated at stores such as Sephora and QVC. Needless, to say, we’re excited about it too! A true homage to the burnt shades of autumn, Julep’s fall collection features brown-oranges and deep purples. While reds and pinks were bright picks for the summer, the transition to fall includes shades that are darker versions of the summer colors – with hints of gold to symbolize the autumn weather.
My favorite from the collection was “Gayle” – a deep aubergine with a slight shine that is heavy, yet fun enough for fall. The color would go great with brown and gold themed outfits and interior designs. Think: purple accents/features with brown riding boots!
We’ve thrown together a moodboard for you to get inspired and excited about the Gayle nail color (and the collection) from Julep this fall:
Color: Gayle from Julep

What do you think? Are you excited to embrace the aubergines and other deep colors of autumn fashion?
