We’re back lovelies with a wedding full of sunshine! Katie and Deep had a traditional Hindu wedding under the warm California sun at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort followed by a western fusion reception.
The mandap was decorated with fabric in creams and beiges. To tie up, large burgundy red rose bouquets were used. The wedding aisle had flower petals arranged in damask shapes. I love the simple use of red against the natural green grass, white chairs, and blue sky.
To remember those who couldn’t be there, large picture frames of the grandparents were placed on chairs. A lovely way to honor family and friends who are no longer around.
For the wedding reception, Katie wore a mermaid style white wedding dress, and Deep sported a classic tuxedo.
The reception hall was gorgeous – full of white flowers and very soft pastel shades of pink and cream.
The head table for the Mrs. & Mr. was accented with bright gold paper wheels and the red floral bouquet seen during the wedding.
