The daughter of couture designer Neeta Lulla, Nishka is getting married! She concluded brunch festivities with pals like Aishwarya Bachchan yesterday and gears up now for the wedding festivities in Mumbai, India.
While the weather in Mumbai is not so scorching hot 90F (compared to Delhi’s 100+), it was still yet another, boiling hot day for the dry city. (Monsoons, please come!)
What was totally not hot though, was the weird Disney Tinkerbell princess backdrop for celebrities to take their photos in front of.

Honestly, no words. No words. Please don’t do this at your wedding. You’re not five years old. Disney’s puke pink and fairy tale backgrounds can be done in a far more elegant manner, not this garish goup.
While Nishka looks stunning in a Disney themed outfit (although, is she on shift at Magic Kingdom?), it just makes her look like something out of the Disney store, not her mother’s classic designer collection.
Her sangeet dinner outfit by House of Neeta Lulla was better, a blue-purple sequin inspired Cinderella ball gown.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sported a red and black top bottom, that while pretty, is totally not suited for 1. brunch, 2. the 8000 degree temperature in Mumbai. Can we please have a little fun with colors?
Esha Deol’s floral print crop top and pants is better, but not complimenting that body of hers.
At least there’s hope with Neetu Chandra and Tanishaa wearing flowy, summer happy outfits.
And my favorite, Neha Dhupia, in a white lengha with gold print blocking. She *is* brunch and beach ready.
Nishka, we can’t wait for the rest of your big Bollywood wedding. But please don’t turn it into a train wreck of cheap Disney dresses from Target.
