We have done guides on so many types of weddings (Maharashtrian, CKP, Mughal, Hindu, Sikh, Nepali), jewelry, bread, daal, and desserts. Now we’re covering flowers!

Flowers are vital to any South Asian wedding – with flower offerings being given during Hindu weddings to the bouquets that Sikh, Christian, Muslim, and non-religious brides carry down the aisle, there’s no way to do a wedding without flowers. And picking the right flowers is almost as difficult as finding the perfect dress.
To help you with this difficult task we’ve assembled a small glossary of information on flowers, from their meanings to the seasons they’re in bloom to how you can pair them with other flowers. We’ve also written handy guides to show you ways and methods to pick your flowers and decorate with them.
