Vibrant colors, modern touches and traditional blessings adorned Philippa and Anurang’s wedding at the Bendooley Estate in New South Wales, Australia. The highlight of the five-day wedding was a Hindu ceremony which had many rituals, blessings and an explosion of color, dancing and of course lots of smiles and laughter.
Guests were delighted when the Baraat wedding procession ended with “Gangnam Style” and an impromptu dance off in the street between the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Love it!
Hilary Cam Photography told us that the night before day two of this awesome blowout of a wedding Philippa and Anurag took part in separate celebrations with close family and friends, where they had their hands intricately painted with henna. Philippa and her bridesmaids were transformed, looking like Bollywood stars. Seriously, they’re gorgeous—you’ll have to see for yourself!
Everything about their day looked so incredibly happy! I loved hearing about all the intricate details that went into the day, like Philippa sneaking up behind Anurag for a first look, but her jingling bells and bracelets giving her away. Too cute!
Then of course, the crowning glory of it all: the Baraat Ceremony. The gorgeous couple tied knots, made offerings to the sacred fire, took the seven steps together and made promises to last 100 Autumns.
The reception looks so fun, am I right?! It was at the Berkelouw Barn where everyone danced the night away. Congratulations to the happy couple!
