Today we’re going to the ends of the Earth for this beautiful Pakistani wedding. Khola and Fahad had a family wedding in their transplant city of Melbourne.
Bride Khola wore a rich red wedding outfits with classic gold and green jewelry. And her bridal mehndi cascaded up her arm past the elbow.
Tell us about the wedding!
We are Pakistani Muslims. I am from Sialkot and Fahad is from Multan. Today we both live in Melbourne, Australia. Our wedding held in Melbourne this past spring in the Hall of Spirit of India. The hall provided many of the vendors including the music by their professional DJ, food, decoration. We had the famous Australian wedding photographer Jagminder Singh, who flew from Sydney to Melbourne. He is just a fantastic photographer; mo words for his outstanding work!
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
My Inspiration is my husband Fahad. We are spending our lives together and to each we want to be a good wife and husband.
What was the hardest part about wedding planning?
I don’t think there was any hardest part in wedding. Everything was pretty organized.
What did you wear?
On the mehndhi night, we wear yellow traditional Pakistani clothes. On the wedding day, yo can whatever colors you choose, but most brides wear red. I went with red and green for my wedding outfit.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
My favorite part were the dances we performed.
What advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Always Respect your partner.
To be sincere and stand by each other, no matter what life throws at you.
