My girl, Bipasha Basu, got married this weekend! To none other than Karan Singh Grover. Even though he’s on his third (fourth?) marriage, well, I’m going to hope it lasts.
And gosh they look so cute together, having a grand time at the wedding.
Bipasha’s mehndi photos were out of this world. The flower garland headpiece, those flower hath phools, and the chic pink lengha by Anushree Reddy (maybe?).
They had a small Bengali wedding, complete with celebrity accoutrements obviously. The reception, held at St. Regis hotel in south Mumbai, had Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Malaika Arora, Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor among others attending.
Wedding photographers The Wedding Story, of Mumbai, India captured the whole event. They also photographed Ahana Deol’s wedding, and Amit and Aamna’s wedding.
Instead of a horse or elephant for the baraat, Karan came in on a segway.
The bridal cover had flowers woven in.
Getting ready for the Shubho Drishti as a Bengali bride. Shubho Drishti is when the bride holds paan (beetle nut) leaves over her face before seeing her husband for the first time.

The floral backdrop in the mandap featured large hydrangeas and hanging garlands; a romantic whimsical wonderland.
