I’m a fan of Suneet Varma. His bridal collections, like Tarun Tahiliani, are royal, intricate, and statement-making.
His bridal fashion is inspired from Russia, Spain, and Rome, and typically the wedding lenghas and sarees looks gorgeous together.
But sometimes, his fashion sense is just odd.
Because, would you put a bird on your head for your wedding day? Or wear a flock of ceramic birds with your wedding dress.
Yea…
This year’s Indian wedding collection from Verma is both bizarre and beautiful. Those intricate jewelry headpieces? Stunning. The oversize teardrop earrings? Gorgeous.
The white saris with silver embroidery, yes please.
Some of his outfits were more traditionally pink and peach heavy zari lenghas. Others were modern pant style salwar wedding suits. I love the collection, and yet, I don’t.
