Akansha and Sushen got married in Amritsar, Punjab. She is Brahmin and her husband is Punjabi. They had a big fat Punjabi wedding style with some Brahmin traditions.
The bride wore a delicate peach lehenga with heavy zari work with a teal chunni. Her mehendi featured intricate Raja/Rani portraiture work.
As something we’ve never seen before, the couple had purple blue green ombre orchids for their jai mala garlands. They are spectacular and I wouldn’t be surprised if they become trendsetting next year!
The modern mandap had ethereal jasmine flower garlands with roses tipping the ends.
The wedding was a mix of Punjabi and Brahmin traditions and was full of laughter.
