Spinning wheels, offbeat rickshaws, vintage candlebras, this Sikh wedding has it all! From an outdoor choor bazaar inspiration to indoor elegance with vintage wedding decoration, Sonali and Raunak had their eye on every detail. And did it pay off into a spectacular event!
We hear more about their festivities from photographer Sanyogita at Plush Affairs.
Sonali and Raunak were actively involved in their wedding planning process with a key eye on the details and customization of the wedding decor and elements.
Starting from Sonali’s mehendi which was held at Qla, Mehrauli New Delhi with the backdrop of the incredible Qutub Minar ,the decor was also spot on with quirky cycle rickshaws, Choori wala and unconventional exotic fruit table centerpieces.
Their Bachelor Party in Rudrapur was conceptualized to add the fun and quirky element to the event. From a ‘Kissing Booth’ to Dart Board with fun activities, to a rustic bar to a gallery of their pictures they included a lot of customized elements in their event.
The engagement was kept in royal golden and white combination with candles and light flower decoration.
The wedding took place at the gurdwara in Avas Vikas. Sonali wore a peach and gold wedding lehenga from Asiana Couture while Raunak sported a classic sherwani. Sonali’s multi-layered kaleeras were a show stopper as were her heritage style jewelry.
The Reception took place at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi where the decor was more on vintage and subtle side. The floral decoration was the main highlight in the decor.
