Srishti and Amit met while at university in Toronto, Canada. After finishing up studies, they headed to Los Angeles. Last spring they visited San Francisco, and at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Amit proposed to her.

Tell us about the wedding!
We had a mixed Gujarati and Sindhi wedding with 700+ people from all over the world. It was a Toronto wedding, with Indian and western fusion elements.
What was the theme for the wedding?
We had a regal/royal theme for the wedding followed by a grand/classy/fairytale reception.
My mehndi had the Toronto skyline drawn on one hand and the Golden Gate Bridge proposal location on other.
Did you do any DIY (do it yourself) or special projects/things at the wedding?
We created the favor giveaways, some of the wedding signage, the custom stir sticks, and the personalized welcome bags.
What advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Be patient!
