Today’s fusion wedding comes to us from Vancouver. Ronita and Alan met at university when she was the serious student and he was the jokester, always asking for her notes. You know how the rest of this story goes…
…And then they fell in love! The super sweet couple hosted a Hindu wedding ceremony performed by the same priest who married Ronita’s parents 35 years earlier (how awesome is that?!)
At the end of the Hindu ceremony there was a small Chinese tea ceremony to honor Alan’s parents.
The following day, everyone got back together for the reception and speeches at the Swaneset Bay Resort and Country Club. Ronita and Alan then performed something way better than a first dance—a lip synching competition that brought the house down!
After traveling to 15 countries together and 69 different cities, Ronita and Alan can now finally call each other husband and wife.
