We are continuing the festivities of Purva and Shivam’s Marwari wedding in Rajasthan. Both being Marwari they had a colorful and bohemian inspired wedding that utilized royal palaces without the formality.
If you missed part I, you don’t want to! They had a classic white wedding inspiration cocktail, sangeet, and haldi ceremonies.
Purva wore a bright yellow lehenga with delicate floral embroidery while Shivam wore a peach and turquoise kurta for the mehendi celebrations.
She describes the mehendi and cocktail parties, “We used a lot of credit and handmade techniques. Pom poms, macrame hangings, origami flowers, tassels etc were used in abundance. Customer made aztec print table overlays, wild flowers, printed paper napkins and coasters were a huge hit at our cocktail party!”
Our Sabyasachi bride wore a red and pink floral embroidered lengha with a classic ring nath. She’s breathtaking! And Shivam matched perfectly in his flower embroidered sherwani with peach-pink chunni.
The Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur will sweep you away!
