Celebrating the cover of Brides Today India, master couture designer Tarun Tahiliani and muse Sonam Kapoor Ahuja set the stage with the India by the Nile Collection.
Sonam’s modern, edgy yet classic look embodies and breaks the mold when we think of expected Indian fashion.
She sported Tahiliani’s latest collection that celebrates Indian and Egyptian cultures in India by the Nile.
Tarun Tahiliani says, “I am a particular fan of cream or pastel colours for summer weddings. With the onset of summer, for Sonam, we chose a refreshing palette and clothes that have an ease, that have a lightness and that feel gossamer rather than heavy.
We are constantly moving towards lightness in Indian clothes so women are free to dance and have fun.”
On Sonam: A beige lehenga with Egypt inspired motifs, accentuated with resham and sequin embroidery. Paired with a lace corset and embroidered dupatta, embellished with crystals and fringing.
