This Indian wedding at the Florida Aquarium is not quite underwater, but you certainly feel it.
Rosalyn and Govind’s Christian wedding was full of color and of course, aquatic themes. This underwater themed wedding cake has sharks, fishes, a castle, and maybe even Nemo.

Rosalyn’s wedding shoes were silver, flowing ocean waves of pretty. And the sari details of silver sequins and beading, oh my!

Rosalyn and Govind’s love started through Match.com where they met online in 2012. Their first date was at the Restaurant Bahama Breeze. Govind proposed to Rosalyn while at stay at the Manasota Key on the beach while the sun was setting. Rosalyn loves Govind’s sense of humor, creativity, music talent and many other things.
The couple enjoy dining out together, relaxing, hanging out with friends, and just spending quality time together. The inspiration for their wedding was on and Indian theme for both of their families are from India. The unique combination of the aquarium theme comes from Rosalyn’s fantasies of having an aquarium wedding one day.
The Wedding Day:
It was such a pleasure to work with Rosalyn and Govind for their gorgeous wedding at the Florida Aquarium! The couple chose to incorporate many traditional elements in their wedding day and the beautiful colors of the aquarium were the perfect backdrop!
My favorite part of this wedding was the Baraat. For a photographer it is an awesome celebration to capture! Plus, Rosalyn was able to watch the Baraat and her groom arriving from a window above the plaza.
The ceremony and dancing were held in the Coral Reef room which has a large window for viewing the wildlife. It is a beautiful space to get married.
At the end of the night the couple departed by horse and carriage and it was a lovely send-off to the newlyweds. I just loved the energy of this amazing wedding day and it was a blast to capture!
