Sandhya and Nitya’s grand wedding reception occurred on their first wedding anniversary. And didn’t stop them from having a fabulous time!
With peacock colors and peacock decor, this sweet couple danced, laughed, and enjoyed cake with family and friends.
Tell us about the wedding reception!
We had a small Hindu wedding, so for our first anniversary, we decided to throw a big party and invite all of our family and friends to join us in celebrating our first milestone.
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
I love peacocks and wanted our event to have a peacock theme, especially since the colors aren’t to girly for my husband 😉
What was the hardest part about wedding planning?
I planned everything in about 2-3 months and I work night shift, so that made things especially hard. It helped to hire an event planner to do a lot of the research for me so that I just had to make the final decisions.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
EVERYTHING!!!
What advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Enjoy every moment because it only happens once.
Things won’t be perfect but when you’re marrying/celebrating with your best friend, nothing else matters. :)”
