Anokhi and Amit had a small destination wedding in Costa Rica at a private estate. They had a Hindu ceremony, but mixed with a modern and chic flare. They danced, they laughed, and they had a blast. Well, who wouldn’t fall in love with the tropical sunsets?!
And on the wedding day she had a beautiful white and lengha with a train.
After the wedding, she used one of the dresses for a trash the dress shoot!
How fun is that?! Let’s see what Anokhi has to share with us.
What was the inspiration for your wedding?
The location determined the design, decor, and flare.
What was the hardest part about wedding planning?
A destination wedding is hard to plan from the states. But honestly nothing was impossible because my wedding planner was fantastic. This entire event wouldn’t have been possible without her, Chelsey Dane Arnal with Events & Experiences, and I hope she knows how special she was to me!
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
We spent an entire week in Costa Rica with our friends and family. It’s hard to say what was our favorite since we went zip lining, had multiple days on beach, but I think I believe our favorite part was the rehearsal dinner. This is mainly because all of our family and friends arrived and it marked the start of our festivities.
What advice do you have for future brides/grooms-to-be?
Nothing will go as planned. Go with the flow. Enjoy your day and don’t worry about the details.
