May the 4th be with you! Which if you didn’t know, means today is Star Wars Day. In honor of the Force, we’re doing a round up of all things Star Wars and wedding related.

There was nothing that made me cry me more than Queen Amidala’s wedding (well, Senator) and Anakin Skywalker.
Her lace veil and their clandestine waterfront wedding swept us away. We knew their heartbreaking fate and have ourselves seen friends elope to keep away from the drama of families.
But Star Wars is also fun of good humor and Pinterest worthy inspiration for weddings. Here are seven favorite ways to incorporate a little bit of that galaxy far far away.
Star Wars Lego Boutonnieres Characters
All you need to make these are Lego characters (cost just a few dollars), a few flowers, a flower pin, tape, and voila! They’re so cute and an elegant way to incorporate the Star Wars fandom without going overboard.

Darth Vader Cufflinks
“Don’t underestimate the Force” was the motto for this bride and groom. There were Darth Vader cufflinks and the groom’s entrance was the Imperial March. The exit for the bride and groom after the wedding ceremony was the throne room song.
R2D2 Wedding Cake
Love R2D2? Groom Monuj loved him so much that they made a groom’s cake at his Indian wedding in Atlanta!

A Family Wedding Cake Topper
This sweet wooden cake topper featured the bride (Leia), groom (Luke), the pets (Chewbacca and R2D2) and their two sons (Jedi children). Cuteness overload.
