I always love when we feature weddings that took place in India. This one doesn’t disappoint either! Manreet and Julie’s gorgeous wedding took place at a private residence in Pinjore, Haryana. Viridian Images dished about the beautiful event, which started on a warm sunny morning.
Manreet started with the Batna ceremony out on the porch before dressing up in a red and cream brocade sherwani complemented a red turban.
Julie wore a bright red lengha with a single strand maang tikka and long kaleeras.
Once ready, the groom puts on a sehra headdress, a sword and a horse to ride into the ceremony.
And what a colorful, dance filled baraat they had!
With the Himalayas as a backdrop, the gorgeous Pinjore Gardens served as the setting for a lavish reception. Tall columns and colorful silk fabrics in multiple colors surrounded Julie and Manreet’s mandap.
For the wedding reception, Manreet and Julie arrived via horse and carriage, they were showered with magenta flower petals that fell around them like confetti. Later in the night after toasting, fireworks lit up the night sky as the couple cut their cake.
Congratulations Julie and Manreet! Many happy times ahead!
