Leela And Logan had their South Indian Tamil Engagement over the summer in Sri Navaneetha Krishna temple in Malaysia featuring great food and lots of DIYs!
The bride wore an intricate green silk saree with contrast magenta blouse with stone work and embroidery. Leela then changed into her engagement saree which was blue and yellow paired with a gorgeous saree blouse with peacock embroidery. She complemented the ornaments that she wore with delicate mehendi on her hands.
The groom wore a custom made blue Nehru jacket that complemented his white jippa. Absolutely dashing!
As for the wedding decoration – it was full all the fabulous elements of a South engagement ceremony: outdoor seating, a DIY photobooth and props, and lanterns/glittering bulbs!
Leela tells us more about the engagement:
We decided to go for elegant traditional with the engagement ceremony, clothes as well as the jewelry and choose blue as our theme colour. I wore a blue pure Kancheepuram saree with yellow personalised embroidered blouse, while the Logan wore a custom made Nehru suit.
We created some DIY Instagram frames and welcome board to put our personal touch into our ceremony. We have also created an hashtag (#loganleelalovesstory) so that our guest can upload their photos on social media and we will be able to view them too without missing any of it.
To make the ceremony more beautiful, our beautiful bridesmaids (brides sisters) wore yellow kota cotton sarees with colourful brocade blouse.
