We have a beautiful big city wedding today. From the great windy city of Chicago, Nidhi and Avin’s hearts blew together for a stunning wedding.
We spoke to Nidhi for a few to hear her story of the wedding.
Tell us a little about the wedding.
Our wedding was a Hindu Indian wedding that took place in Chicago, IL. On Friday, we had a Sangeet at the Waterford in Elmhurst, IL. On Saturday we had the wedding and reception at the Marriott on Michigan Ave in downtown Chicago.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
When we did the Hora at the reception!
What was the most annoying part of wedding planning?
All of the back and forth communication with vendors, and getting them to all coordinate. Also cutting down the guest list!
What advice do you have for brides to be?
Start as early as possible, and outsource wherever possible! Make sure you think through the details of what you want from each vendor or you can get caught paying more than you originally thought.
