This was a thank you card I received after a wedding this past past fall. It almost made me cry. By the time the wedding day comes around, I don't consider my clients, clients, we've gotten to know each other, and become friends. While my role is as a photographer, I work with you during your planning process, to get to know you, and your expectations. We'll talk about what about photography is important to you and make sure the timeline of your day fits it all in.
I am a fine art photographer, shooting both film and digital. I love color, light, and airy, ethereal images, they warm my soul! I want to shoot the beauty of your day, as you remember it. Once we are working together, I want you to feel confident that you will have images to look back on and remember all the love from that day, not just from the person you married, but from all the family and friends who have come to join in the celebration.
While I am based in New Orleans, I have been fortunate to travel for much of my life. I lived overseas for several years before settling in New Orleans. Growing up in a bicultural household, I understand the intricacies of traditions and how they are woven into the wedding celebration. Indian celebrations are rich with colors and details, and are a dream for me to photograph.
