Welcome to the 2017 Submission Process!
We love to feature real weddings. And we accept wedding submissions from brides and grooms, and wedding vendors.
Weddings we accept:
South Asian in culture/heritage. That means, at least one person in the relationship should be South Asian ethnically (Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan, Bangladeshi) and live in those countries or anywhere else in the world.
We also love all types of weddings, from lavish and ornate, to intimate and homey to DIY. No wedding is too big or too small for us to feature. We’re just BIG on the love! LGBTQ, civil, Hindu, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, Buddhist, Parsi, Christian, Jewish are all welcome here.
The Submission Process:
If you are a bride/groom, here are the details on how to submit to us.
1. The Questionnaire: To be filled out by the bride or groom. The form is embedded below.
2. Vendors: Please list all applicable vendors (photographers, planners, caterers, henna artists, florists) that you would like to see credited. We must have a photography credit to consider your wedding for publication.
3. Photos: Submit 50-200 photos. They must be at least 1500px wide. You can email them to preeti @ thebigfatindianwedding (dot) com using Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer.
Photographers/wedding planners submitting the wedding:
You MUST have permission from the couple to submit their wedding. Please go here to submit your wedding.
*The Review:*
After we receive your wedding submission, we will review it. As mentioned, we tend to accept every wedding, but if we find concerns, we will email you.
You can expect a publication within 3 months.
I can’t locate a email address for submission. I have covered Indian weddings for over 6 years and would like to submit!
Thanks!
Hi April!
Send an email to preeti at thebigfatindianwedding dot com and tell me more about your work.
I’ll also look into fixing our contact form, it’s been a bit broken.
