If you haven’t already noticed the glamorous look of the Bollywood yesteryears is back in fashion. From the cat eye makeup to the 60s fashion, we are seeing a resurgence to the mad men days.
This lovely styled shoot by Jessie Felix captures the simplicity and glamour of an Indian princess. The soft cream colored lengha, the deconstructed heart hira-moti (diamond and pearl) necklace set matched with the bold eyes, is breath taking.
What I love about this shoot is that it focused on the model and the style of photos. These are great inspiration for your Indian wedding photos.
Here are a few of my “must have” poses for a bride:
Close up of the embroidery + hand
Detail of the necklace and chunni
Upper body tilt shot where the bride faces away from the camera
Veil from the back of the outfit
Three-quarter length photo of the lengha
Whimsical full body shot away from the camera
Standing posed shot with the veil/chunni
The classic circle/365 shot of the lengha skirt
Sultry look through the veil – focus on the eyes
