Sean & Jono’s Smiley Hindu-Fusion Wedding {Seattle}

Lovelies! Today’s wedding is absolutely gorgeous. It’s classy and sweet and righteous. I’m so excited to share with you another one of the couples we featured during National Pride Month. Sean and Jono look svelte in their matching embroidered Nehru jackets and mehndi. *sigh* It’s all so pretty.

Sean and Jono held their wedding at the gorgeous Arctic Club in Downtown Seattle. With it’s high, golden dome and it’s somewhat offbeat history as the main meeting room for Yukon gold rushers, it created the perfect atmosphere for their fusion Hindu Civil Ceremony.

The handsome grooms had two baraats entering from both corners of the Arctic Club. Fully outfitted with dhol players and an army of smiling family and friends, I’m pretty sure they made the grandest entrance Seattle has ever seen.

Mandev Sidhu, the photographer from the wedding, had this to say: “Sean and Jono were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they signed their marriage certificate. During their engagement session, Jono told me ‘…we waited a long time for this’ and I could hear those words during the signing. It made me appreciate and respect their resilience and dedication to each other.” The only fitting way to top off this gorgeous wedding was with a righteous reception, and Sean and Jono did just that – Mama Tits, drag queen and diva extraordinaire of the Seattle entertainment scene MCed as the guests ate and danced.

Sean and Jono’s wedding was a glorious display of love, tradition, and joy.

I remember leaving theirengagement session thinking, ‘these guys have something special – commitment and patience.’ It felt like their wedding was a celebration of these two pillars, and it was a time for friends and family to celebrate love… and a celebration it was! The energy was incredible, and they were surrounded by so much love.”
