This year’s Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer ’15 featured plenty of established fashion designers, along with hot new names, sharing their takes on resort wear for the warmer seasons. From frills to fruity colors, the runways heated up with both Western and traditional Indian attire.
But arguably, the hottest part of Lakme is always the celebrities that endorse their favorite designers by strutting the runways themselves. This year’s stars included favorites such as the Kapoor sisters as well as up and coming models and breakout actresses. Take a look at the collection of Lakme Fashion Week 2015 showstoppers below:

Jacqueline Fernandez at Anamika Khanna’s Grand Finale
And finally, Kareena Kapoor closed the fashion week as the ultimate showstopper at Anamika Khanna’s grand finale. This silver and black cropped blouse and skirt ensemble is shiny and stunning – she definitely has that showstopping model look too. Kareena was also the showstopper for the grand finale last year, when Manish Malhotra closed Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer ’14.
This year, however, Manish Malhotra took a stance not to have a showstopper at his WEvolve Blue Collection, which partnered with the World Bank to raise funds and awareness for gender violence. He nobly wanted the show to be focused on his message, not on the showstopper.
